Victoria is a princess. But unlike Kathryn she is the younger princess and being the younger princess is BORING. You don't get to do all the cool princessy stuff but are still stuck with the tedious princessy stuff. When all her friends were playing make believe they would pretend to be graceful princesses and Vic would scoff at them and raid their castles as a mighty pirate.

Victoria and her older sister were off to see some boring person that was going to talk at them when they were set upon by PIRATES! It was the highlight of Vic's year. Then they were saved by OTHER PIRATES!! Surely with so many pirates about they would need another deckhand? This is her opportunity to make her daydreams a reality and she is going to seize it with both hands.
